  • BSc (Honours), Second class upper division, Faculty of Science, Eastern University, Sri Lanka.Research: “Nutritional and Phytochemical analysis of some wild edible green leafy vegetables in Batticaloa diet.”

  • M.Sc. in Crop protection and Plant biotechnology in University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (Reading).Research: “Effect of Vermicompost on growth and development of Okra”.

  • Completed the Staff Development Programme (Certificate in Teaching and Related Initial Practices in Higher Education), conducted by the Staff Development Center, Eastern University Sri Lanka.
